![]() In SC2, it is halved to 50 energy (according to SC2A), and it can make, for that 50 energy:Īccording to SC2pod wiki (which idk if it is entirely accurate). I like the CONCEPT of hallucination, but in practice, it doesnt seem all that much more useful than in SC, with the only real difference being that it is cheaper and is not on the HT (both of which are improvements, i admit, but still not enough).Īs most of you know, in SC, it just doesnt make sense to use hallucination when you could get 1.33 (etc) storms for the same energy (100). #5 My favorite use for hallucination right now is against a zerg player who whores banelings :D And i believe it comes from the sole reason that the obelisk simply sits in the back of the base and doesn't move. Obviously that i think the shield recharge would be going a little too far but as of now i still don't see any reason to not spam the proton charge. Something like this would provide a lot of interesting gameplay as neither of the other mechanics incorporate and offensive aspect to them. That way you could teleport it to the front and risk it being lost for the possibility of winning the game outright. Like make it have a sustainable that makes its field give + to recharge of shields in stead of just the same old shield battery thing. I think what should happen is that i should be given a teleport, as discussed on another thread, and give it an almost OP ability. People would just cast proton charge constantly. not cast proton charge on every CD) to use this. There still would be no reason to store energy (ie. Plus you wouldn't really have to use it all that often considering when it would be appropriate. Hallucination now has been reduced to nearly a gimmick state. Focus all fire on the power core as destroying it will end the mission regardless of whether the battlecruisers are destroyed or not.#2 I don't really see it at all. When attacking the final power core, a fleet of at least three battlecruisers will warp-in to defend the power core, but they shouldn't be too hard to take down. Both stasis chambers are heavily defended by vikings, battlecruisers and hybrid nemeses. The hybrid stasis chamber on the right can only be attacked by air units while the one on the left can be assessed by moving the platform to its right. ![]() The main Moebius base is at the top-right corner of the map, with hybrid destroyers, dominators, nemeses and a Blackhammer defending it. Corsairs can be useful in defending your base with their splash attacks, and for disabling enemy ground defenses so your carriers can dismantle them. It is essential to not take any major engagements too early unless it is over resources, as the main and bonus objectives are heavily defended. As there is not much room to build on the main platform, this will usually require the main carrier fleet to defend. Part of the challenge of this map are the large banshee/ Viking/ wraith combinations that will be send regularly toward the player's base. The Spear of Adun, of course, can greatly aid matters at harder difficulties, and hopefully the player will have a powerful selection of abilities for the ship by this point in the game. The map is designed for the player to practice using carriers, and carriers (and probes) are the only units necessary to beat the level. Nexus Overcharge is also useful, as it'll add additional defense along with photon cannons and 1-2 khaydarin monoliths. The reconstruction beam is a necessity for this mission, as it'll repair your carriers, while shield batteries can recharge their shields. The upgraded Chronoboost from the Spear of Adun may also be useful in this mission, as well as orbital refineries so that gas can still be mined after the platform has moved. In this mission, make sure to upgrade the carriers' guns and armor to level 3 at the cybernetics core. There are scattered resources pallets on each platform that the player must reach in order to form a fleet that can take out the power generators.įorming a large fleet of carriers and getting upgrades are essential, as without upgrades carriers do little damage to the heavily armored battlecruisers that will be deployed. The player spawns on the bottom middle of the map, with few resources and a handful of air units. He declared him to be a Templar, and commanded that the age of the caste system was over, and now all must become Templar no matter how they were born. Before his council, Artanis stated that this was only possible because of the actions of Karax. ![]() Moebius Corps was removed as a threat in the conflict. ![]() With the Revanscar base destroyed, Amon's hybrid production was halted. ![]()
